Bria Wright attended Mary Bryan Elementary School before going to Southport Middle and High School. While attending SHS, Bria was a 4 year varsity girls basketball player and 3 year varsity volleyball player. She was Homecoming Queen her senior year.
After graduating from Southport in 2013, Bria attended Kentucky Wesleyan College where she played basketball all four years and earned a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. After college, Bria came back to Perry Township to teach 2nd grade at Rosa Parks Elementary and help the Southport Girls Basketball program grow with her job as Youth Director.
Bria joined SHSAA in 2019 in hopes to continue to grow her love for Southport, and find new ways to help current students at Southport understand what it means to be a Cardinal, and graduated students find ways to continue to foster their love for Southport.
She currently resides on the south side with her husband, Marcus.
