Ken was born and raised in Southport, attended Homecroft Elementary, Perry East Middle School and graduated from Southport High School in 1970. After high school, Ken went to and graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Computer Technology.
Ken’s entire professional career was spent in the Information Technology sector, working for Jefferson National Life Insurance for the first 5 years and then with Anthem Insurance for 34 years. During his career, Ken was a programmer, network support analyst, managed the installation of voice and data networks in building construction and remodels, managed the software packaging and distribution team, and headed the IT department of an Anthem subsidiary, Raffensperger Hughes & Co.
Ken retired in 2005 at which time he turned his full time attention to his own business, Raasch Enterprises, Inc. Raasch Enterprises is a custom furniture and cabinet company.
Being an avid fisherman Ken spends 6-7 months of the year in Minnesota and Canada fishing and when the fish are not cooperating you can find Ken on the golf course.
