Chris Henry ('91)

After graduating from Southport High School in 1991, Chris Henry attended Indiana University, where he graduated with honors. Chris is also a graduate of the CBA Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia. Chris is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Chase Home Lending and JPMorgan Private Client. Prior to that, Chris was Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Home Lending, and before that, he was the CRO of Consumer Banking which included Deposit Risk Management, Chase Wealth Management, Digital Risk Management, and Fraud Risk Management for the consumer businesses.

Before becoming a CRO, Chris was Head of Product Management for Consumer and Business Banking. He was responsible for managing and developing the full range of consumer deposit products and services, along with their related Profits and Losses. Chase offers these products and services in its 5600-plus branches, which are delivered through their 2000-plus business bankers.

Chris has been with Chase for over 25 years and was the Executive Sponsor of the Diversity and Inclusion Action Group (DIAG) for the Consumer and Business Banking Risk Management Organization. He has held various senior leadership positions in product, pricing, marketing, and finance across multiple consumer businesses including: Head of Product and Marketing of Consumer Banking, CFO of Consumer Banking, and CFO of Mortgage Originations.

Chris served as Treasurer and Director on the Board of Trustees for Bridgeway Academy for nine years with his final allowable term ending in December 2023. In addition to his career, Chris is a generous donor to the Southport Alumni Association, awarding multiple scholarships to deserving students each year.

Chris enjoys traveling with his family, including his mother and stepfather, who still reside in Indianapolis. Some of the places Chris and his family have traveled include Italy, Hawaii, Bahamas, Costa Rica, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and Jamaica. Chris has also traveled to India with his work.

Although Chris now lives in Ohio he still shares season tickets to his favorite team, The Indianapolis Colts.

Chris and his wife Kristie live in Powell, Ohio with two of their three children. Their oldest daughter, Kenna, attends Indiana University in Bloomington where she is studying business.
