Open House – March 7th, 2016

There will be a joint visitation open house for the Perry Meridian High School and Southport High School Alumni/History Rooms on March 7.  It will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm.  The rooms are located at the Perry Township Education Center.  You will need to enter the building through the northwest doors off of Banta Avenue.

The Men's 1990 Basketball team was honored during the halftime of the boys' game on Friday, February 20th.  Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate this storied team and honor their historic coach, Mr. Bill Springer.

On January 31st. 2014, the Association honored the 1980 Girls Basketball State Champions.  Members of the champion team were in attendance and a banner was hung from the rafters in their honor.

The Southport High School Athletic Department is pleased to announce that Ray Bertram and James Tonte have been selected to be inducted into the SOUTHPORT HIGH SCHOOL WALL OF FAME for 2013.  The wall of fame honors former athletes and coaches who have achieved success during and after their career at Southport. It's a great honor to name Chuck Stumpf our Oustanding Alumnus for 2013.  Chuck has been a stalwart for Southport and the southside all his life.  He graduated 50 years ago as an accomplished athelete and excellent student.  He went on the graduate from Indiana Central, now UINDY and became a CPA.
